.......nice. The only problem with it as far as I can see is that you can't 'feel' the keys; I rely on that when I'm gaming (for all the good it does me :D  )
It would go nicely with my glass desk  ;D

To bad it looks like they are going to charge for software updates  :o

Look's like a good idea but I really don't like not being able to feel the keys move when I type or push a button to do something in a game.

It could have uses on computer kiosks and the like - but looks a bit fragile for letting the public loose on them.

It does give me an idea for a configurable morphing keyboard though (i.e. you can define the layout and size of the keys, and what each key 'shows' on the surface e.g. the letter A or Ctrl etc - and could be adapted to any language character set.

The keys themselves would be formed from lots of little rods which can be raised or lowered depending on the config, and would allow you to 'press' the group of rods like you would press a key. Each rod would have a lcd or led on the end which can change colour - so that you can have a background colour and some text on the key itself.

Next stop, Dragon's Den! :D

Marketing could be "have a play with the rods and see how they feel best to you"

Almost like the Optimus Maximus keyboard

That's halfway there. My idea would allow different shapes and sizes for keys, all formed by the little rods - like one of those executive toys that have sliding metal pins you can form shapes in - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pin_Art - but a lot better than one of those.
