The Gaming Community Network
is an initiative and collaboration between many gaming communities that operate Battlefield Servers. GCN aims to be a focal point between those who rent and administer Battlefield Servers and enable representation of joint views for discussion with DICE. In turn it is hoped this will enable the relative minority of those who can expend significant funds and time with server rentals to have a greater voice, rather than being lost in the general din of the current message boards like Battlelog's forums.
A Battlelog announcement post
has already attracted the attention of DICE's community manager. That is more progress than was apparently made over the many numerous threads regarding the GSP cull. Indeed GSN was born from the frustration of server arrangements experienced during the launch of Battlefield 4. It is hoped that DICE will recognise that it is the server renting communities that facilitate the Battlefield series and that the renters have a big stake in the game that should be acknowledged.
NTHW are represented with the Gaming Community Network through MovedGoalPosts. We will work with GCN with the aim that servers, and therefore Battlefield, can be the best game possible for the publisher, players, and therefore NTHellWorld.
