Teamspeak Server has been moved.  Let's hope this will resolve issues.  New server location:

Seems ok here, but then I didn't seem to have many problems before.

Whilst the pings remained quite low last night and thus tracerts were not going to show up an issue, later in the evening the connection info was showing quit a lot of packet loss, occasionally reaching 25%.  That is very high.  But it's difficult to say whether that is the server, or anywhere between server and sender / recipient.  It would only take one person to be having a problem with their connectivity, and for them to be the only person at that moment to be trying to transmit, and the packet loss would be affected.

I've been tweaking, and will try and continue to tweak the server connection codec bandwidth use, which might affect voice quality, to see if a balance can be obtained.

surely if its affecting all users it wont be the link between the ts and the recipient? too many different connections for that to be the issue. i'd say it's a server fault.

TS3 performance tonight is appalling with packet loss stuck at over 30%.  You really cannot work out what anyone is saying.  It is just not fit for purpose.

We first raised tickets with Fragnet on this issue back on the 26th November, only 2 days after the server was first installed.  Despite them relocating us, things haven't got any better, and indeed are worse.  I can only now assume they are unwilling / unable to fix whatever the issue(s) are.

Unfortunately this type of lack of action by a GSP was one of my fears when EA/DICE forced their cull of the better providers such as GamingDeluxe.

I'm requesting cancellation of the Fragnet TS3 server.

I'll post as soon as I can get something else set up, but I'm not sure if I've left my wallet at the office
