might have problems getting it back unless it's a flase edged one. i bought a sword a while ago from battleorders.co.uk i think it was. they sell them all as false edged. (i.e. not sharp enough to cut someone)

Well pc has the same problem again so the lot is going back on Monday for a refund.

Gonna be off line for a while well pc anyway as I am gonna get a xbox when the refund is sorted untill I get the money to sort it out properly.

If I am going to get a Xbox it will probably be the new small one, ready for when the new Kinect thing for them is released.

The overclocking isn't the issue as when it shut down yesterday with the overheat, I went in to the Bios and unoverclocked and tried again to boot and the same issue.

The reason why this is happening is the fact that the thermal paste on the IOH and ICH chip's is not up to scratch, after reading the Asus forum's there allot of people having this problem and the only way to fix it is to remove the heatsink's of the, board and then replace the paste with some better stuff but in doing so you invalidate the warranty on the board because, you are modding the board buy using better paste.

At the moment I am putting the CPU and Ram in to me Asus Rampage II Extreme board to try them in that, and see what happen's but I will not be buying anymore Asus Mobo's till they sort there QA out and stop this issue from happening.

3 board's all 3 with the same issue, and the fact that it is caused by the small amount of crap paste on the chip's is, a joke it's a £350 mobo ffs you think they would put some decent thermal paste on it, guess they think we are all using LN2 cooling.

Well the fan on my gfx card started grinding Friday and is now really bad. So until I can afford a new fan (if I can find one to fit) or a new card I will be on even less.

That is a good link Mr Rammy - I'm going to take it (the card) out later and see what I can do

You can squirt it with some wd40 on the way back if you like Mr Bop, I don't think I'd get it in the right place

I replaced the heatsink/fan on a GPU about 5 years ago. Surprisingly easy.
